Trying to achieve subtlety in my work, I have been experimenting with various ways to apply clear on clear, or clear on opaque - expanding on previous experiments using pva/silicone as a drawing tool.
Silicone on Acetate
White yarns in PVA
Screenprinting PVA onto Acetate
White yarns tapped in Heat Pressed Acetate
Invisible thread trapped in heat pressed PVC
Results: I thik that this subtlety would be a nice contrast in my final pieces against the bolder, coloured samples I have been producing. I nay lok into producing a few clear on clear pieces to complement the main final samples I make.
