Long Exposure

Long exposure photography involves using a long shutter speed to sharply capture stationary elements of images while blurring moving elements. Long-exposure photography is often used in low lighting, and by leaving the camera's shutter open for an extended period of time more light is absorbed, creating a brighter image. If the camera is stationary for the entire period of time that the shutter is open, a very vibrant and clear photograph can be produced.

f/22 @ 200ISO film
Approx. 11:00pm - 3:00am

Results: Dreamy images, stationary items remain in focus whilst moving elements appear blurred or transparent - ghostly figures are seen in the bed as I moved in my sleep throughout the duration of the photograph.
