Destroying Film

It is possible to produce completely unpredictable and uncontrolled results by allowing an exposed roll of film to soak in a destructive solution before being developed.

Kodak ColorPlus 200 Film soaking in Vinegar

Once the film has been used, place the entire canister in a suitable container, submerging the film for as long as desired. After the film has been removed it should be dried completely before being processed. The film canister may be dried out on the radiator for a few days, or the film can be wound out of the canister (in a completely light-proof room) and dried with a hairdryer on a cool setting. A film exposed to heat over a long period of time will expire faster and may experience a colour shift.

Destructive solutions that I wish to experiment with include: bleach, oil, vinegar, baking soda, mouth wash, washing up liquid, alcohol, nail varnish remover, tea/coffee.
